Education Qualification
For Science Subjects:
Completed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English, achieving at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. OR
Completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, Information Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (either in the diploma course or in 10th grade if English wasn't part of the diploma). OR
Completed a 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils listed in COBSE, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (either in the vocational course or in 10th grade if English wasn't part of the vocational course).
For Other Than Science Subjects:
Completed 10+2 or equivalent in any subject from Central/State Education Boards listed in COBSE, with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. OR
Completed a 2-year vocational course from Education Boards listed in COBSE, with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English (either in the vocational course or in 10th grade if English wasn't part of the vocational course).
Age Limit
The Candidates Should Not be less Than 17 1/2 Years of Age and Not more than 21 Years of Age as on 1st January 2025
Selection Process
Phase 1: Online Test Eligible candidates will receive provisional admit cards for Phase I testing via their registered email IDs 48-72 hours before the exam. You’ll need to download, print in color, and bring it to the exam center on the test day as indicated on your admit card. You can also download the provisional admit card from the CASB web portal at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
The online test will be objective and bilingual (English & Hindi), except for the English paper. Candidates taking tests for both Science subjects and non-Science subjects will do so in one sitting on the same system. Don’t forget to bring a blue/black pen and your original AADHAR card.
Test Details:
Science Subjects: 60 minutes, covering English, Physics, and Mathematics as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
Other Than Science Subjects: 45 minutes, covering English (10+2 CBSE syllabus) and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
Science & Other Than Science Subjects: 85 minutes, covering English, Physics, Mathematics (10+2 CBSE syllabus), and RAGA.
Marking Scheme:
1 mark for each correct answer.
No marks for unattempted questions.
0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase 2: Selection After Phase I (Online) Test results are announced, candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores. Those selected will receive new admit cards via email for Phase II testing at a designated ASC. These admit cards can also be downloaded from the CASB web portal.

Color printout of the completed application form.
HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, stapler, and black/blue ballpoint pen.
Eight un-attested passport-size color photographs (same as used for online application).
Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation passing certificate (for verification of name, father’s name, and date of birth).
Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation marks sheet (for diploma holders if English isn’t a subject in the diploma).
Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent passing certificate and marks sheet. OR
Original and four self-attested photocopies of three years diploma course passing certificate and marks sheets. OR
Original and four self-attested photocopies of two years vocational course passing certificate and marks sheets, including non-vocational subjects English, Physics, and Mathematics.
SOAFP (Son of Air Force Personnel) certificate if applicable.
Original Phase I admit card with Air Force seal and invigilator’s signature.
